Beaches around Cape Coral
With more than 400 miles of canals, boating, fishing and water sports, you will also find white sandy beaches in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and the nearby islands with a Caribbean feel, Sanibel and Captiva Island. The beaches on Sanibel Island are well-known and highly ranked candidates on the lists of the best beaches in Florida and the United States. Here, in addition to enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, you can also be lucky enough to get up close to wildlife.
Cape Coral Yacht Club
Cape Coral's own small beach. Located about 10 minutes away from the house by car. Good playground for children, good restaurant and a nice pier. Go here in the evening and watch the fantastic sunset!
Fort Myers Beach
A fantastic beach with incredibly fine sand. The beach is over 10km long and in addition to the lovely beach, you are close to lots of restaurants, shopping and many other activities. It takes between 20 - 30min to get there.
Sanibel Island & Captiva Island
Two well-known islands off Fort Myers Beach that you reach via bridges. Fantastic beaches, beautiful nature and a wonderful feeling that reminds you of the Caribbean! Sanibel is known all over the world for its abundance of shells on the beaches. It takes about 40 minutes to get here.
Lovers Key
An absolutely amazing beach! Beautiful water, beautiful nature and very peaceful and nice. Lovers Key is a national park and you can see many exciting things along the beach. It takes about 40 minutes to get there.
Bonita Springs Beach
About 45 minutes from the house. Nice beach and good restaurant. Definitely worth a little longer drive. From here you are close to Miromar Outlet, which is a must on your trip here.
Caspersen Beach/Venice Beach
About 1 hour from the house. Caspersen Beach is famous all over the US for its shark tooth fossils. Really lovely beach with incredibly nice water.
